J&P Engineering Ghana Limited is a wholly owned Ghanaian Engineering Servicing Company. The company was incorporated in July 2003 as a limited liability company to deliver services in the area of Mechanical, Electrical, Piping and Civil engineering. We have earned a reputation for delivering cost effective engineering services to our clients. Our success is driven by our people and their commitment to get results the right way. Our deep understanding of the industry has provided us with the expertise in creating innovation, flexibility as well as a passion for helping our clients deliver the strongest possible solutions.
We are an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company that provides service support within the upstream and downstream oil and gas sector. We also provide services in mining and the manufacturing industry. We work within accepted international engineering codes and practices such as ASME, AWS, AWWA, API, IEE, BS, etc.
We provide international and local knowledge with innovation and technical excellence in delivering customized and creative solutions to meet the needs of our clients. In the past 14 years we have been engaged in executing high profile government and multinational projects in Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Togo and Siera Leone.

MANAGEMENT TEAM
JOSEPH AMPOMAH MENSAH
CEO
Joseph is the CEO of J&P Engineering Ghana Ltd. He provides the leadership and direction for the growth of the organization. He has over fifteen years’ experience in structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) engineering. He has worked served in senior management positions with GE International Corporation and Amitabh Limited. Joe has an extensive knowledge in the West Africa Gas Pipeline Project serving as project Manager for McDonnell Mining Ltd responsible for the construction of the Regulating and Metering (R&M) Stations, Ghana, Togo and Benin
Joseph has a M.Sc. in Project Management in Energy, Oil and Gas from the University of Liverpool-UK and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in mechanical Engineering from the Kumasi Polytechnic. He has a certificate in structuring and financial modeling for energy and Infrastructure Projects. He is also a member of AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) International.
Other Roles:
- Technical Advisor to Trojan Power Ltd: providing advice and direction for the development and implementation of 25MW Reciprocating Engine power plant in Tema,
- Technical Advisor to FP Energy Ltd. Providing structuring and development of 300 MW Thermal power plant in Esiama, in the Western region of Ghana.
- Partner, Amiable J&P Energy, Kenya Lead partner in the development of a 40MW Solar PV on-grid Power plant in Garsen, Kenya
ATO KWAMINA GAISIE
Director, Business Development and Strategic Planning
Ato is the Director, Business Development and Strategic Planning of J&P Company Ltd. He is responsible for the development of corporate and marketing strategies. He also provides the leadership and vision necessary to ensure that proper institutional structures and people systems are in place to effectively grow the organization.
Ato has over fifteen (15) years working experience in Business development, Customer services management, and Logistics and Programs coordination in the field of banking, upstream oil and gas as well as logistics. He has varied skills and practical working experiences with multi-stakeholder groups.
He has served in Strategic management positions in financial institutions, notably Express Capital, Bank of Africa, Ghana and Stanbic Bank, Ghana. He also worked with Canadian Natural Resources (CNR- Cote d’ivoire) as a Logistics Coordinator.
Ato holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) Degree. A Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast. He also has a certificate from the Ghana Stock Exchange Training School and a recipient of several certificates in varied fields awarded by reputable institutions.
RANSFORD VACLAV CUDJOE
Director,Corporate and Legal Affairs
Ransford is the Director, Corporate and Legal affairs of J&P Company limited. He has over twelve years’ experience in managing financial portfolios of Engineering Companies
He holds a bachelor of laws LL.B degree from University of Ghana, Legon and a M.Sc. in Finance and Law from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom.
Ransford has served as the project Financial Controller for McDonnell Ghana Ltd, which constructed the regulating and metering stations for the West African Gas Pipeline. He has also worked with JVC Engineering, the biggest indigenous engineering firm in Ghana as the financial controller. He also lectures in Business Law at the Takoradi Polytechnic.
ANTHONY SEKYERE
Director,Operations
Anthony is the Director of Operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Diploma in Project Management. He has over fifteen years of experience in directing the operations of various Engineering and Construction firms.
He has also managed the operations of J&P Engineering on several high profile projects such as the refurbishment and installation of 100 ton/hr capacity PK Oil plant at BOPP, the fabrication of sub-sea tie-in covers for the West African Gas Pipeline Project, a 15 MW Gas Turbine power plant installation for Genser Power, Natural gas fuel supply line for the Tema Thermal Power Plant and a host of technical projects with diligence and skill.

TONY APPAU
General Supervisor (Mechanical Engineering)
Tony is the General Supervisor (Mechanical Engineering) of J&P Ghana Ltd. He has over ten years working experience in project management and execution. His core competencies include Repairs of plant machine, power transmission systems, turbines, air compressors, agitators and pumps, ball mill, sag mill, cyclones repair and maintenance of earth moving machines and trouble shooting of all kinds.
Tony has a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an HND certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Accra Polytechnic. He has also undertaken various courses with the Ghana Maritime academy
At J&P he has excellently supervised the Fabrication of fuel Storage Tanks, Natural gas processing piping for West Africa Gas Pipeline at its regulating and Metering Stations based in Tema and Takoradi as well as the installation of Biomass Boiler at Cargill Ghana Ltd
